The Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) is a centralized federal police force in Malaysia, with its headquarters located in Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur. The force is led by an Inspector-General of Police (IGP), currently Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun. The Police Act 1967 governs the constitution, control, employment, recruitment, funding, discipline, duties, and powers of the police force. In addition to the regular RMP, there is a support group of Extra Police Constables, Police Volunteer Reserves, Auxiliary Police, Police Cadets, and civilian service personnel. As a senior police officer, my role involves overseeing and managing the rank and file within my division. Our main focus is on fighting crime, and we prioritize teamwork and building strong relationships among team members. The most rewarding aspect of the job is achieving set goals, while the most challenging part is failing to meet deadlines for set goals.

Every day, I interact with the public and assist them in resolving their issues. I have gained valuable communication skills through this experience. The management is effective, and my colleagues are cooperative and work well together. The most challenging aspect of my job is when the public does not comprehend the law and expects me to bend the rules. The most rewarding part is when the public acknowledges and appreciates my efforts.
