RP Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is the sole PTA manufacturer in Malaysia with a capacity of 610 KTA. Located in the State of Pahang on the east coast of the Malaysian peninsula, the plant is situated at Gebeng Industrial Estate, about 25km from Kuantan and employs around 170 full-time employees.

RPCM employees have consistently striven to make substantial improvements to RPCM already competitive cost structure. This has resulted in RPCM delivering cutting edge performance over the years and has helped it retain its position as one of the most competitive PTA producers of South East Asia.
