Sage 3 offers a limited number of Specialist services. These include Debt restructuring of medium to large corporations, procurement of banking facilities, Corporate Finance advisory work and credit appraisal and evaluation expertise.

With our collective 100+ years in the field of Debt Restructuring and credit, mostly attained at International Financial Institutions and as founding members of Danaharta, we have successfully conceptualized, strategized and negotiated Debt Restructuring Schemes for our clients over the past five years totaling RM 10+ billion. The majority have been Public Corporations, many with a past record of failed debt restructuring attempts.

Sage 3’s assistance has been sought by a number of international financial institutions. We have been engaged by a local investment bank, an international bank and consulting firms to partner in bidding for advisory assignments, on managing Non-Performing Loans and evolving market entry strategies for their business in Malaysia. We are often their preferred specialist advisory support, our most recent such assignment entailed advisory and recovery work for a Specialist Government Bank involving its Non-Performing Loan portfolio.

In Banking, our considerable experience in credit analysis and evaluation enables us to advise and guide Clients to secure the most optimal financing packages. This entails originating and preparing credit applications to meet the highest credit standards. All negotiations including credit issues and concerns raised by bankers are addressed by Sage 3 in consultation with the Client. On this basis approvals are obtained at significantly reduced turnaround time.

Our mandates for procuring financing annually average between RM1 – RM2 billion which portfolio size is significant enough for Banks to favor us with their time and commitment. The Credit Application Dossier is prepared and advanced in accordance with the Bank’s desired format, Sage 3 is able to have this completed within a maximum three weeks period. Given the size of our portfolio we are able to secure for our Clients the best rates normally reserved for the largest corporations in Malaysia.
