Tentang Sarawak Cable Berhad

Incorporated in 1998, SARAWAK CABLE BERHAD (“SCABLE”) was successfully listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on 25th May 2010. From its humble origin as a power cable manufacturer, SCABLE has since expanded its business portfolio substantially to include fabrication of steel poles & towers, hot-dip galvanized products, construction of transmission lines, and mini-hydropower plant.

The integration of Leader Cable Industry Berhad (“LCIB”) and Universal Cable (M) Berhad (“UCMB”) under SCABLE Group since January 2015 has led SCABLE to surge as the largest cable manufacturer in Malaysia and LEADING PLAYER in South East Asia while at the same time, facilitating SCABLE to be a One-Stop Centre for power cable supply cum transmission line projects in Malaysia.

Our wholly-owned subsidiary, Universal Cable (Sarawak), is mainly involved in the manufacture of power cables and wires.
