Tentang Shannimpex Sdn Bhd

Shannimpex Sendirian Berhad (Shannimpex) was incorporated in Kuala Lumpur on the 20th August, 1997 to undertake subcontract work for Pernas Engineering Sendirian Berhad for the erection and installation of transmission towers for Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

Shannimpex has since ventured into the telecommunication business and on the 13th July, 2001 Shannimpex was appointed the authorised reseller for Andrew Corporation of the USA for distribution of Andrew’s range of telecommunication equipments and accessories.

Andrew Corporation is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and supply of communications equipment, systems and services. Andrew products and services provide proven solutions to wireless and fixed line telecommunications operators, internet service providers and broadcasters. Andrew Corporation was founded in 1937 and to date is a multibillion-dollar, multinational corporation with more than 4,500 employees worldwide.

Shannimpex, with the support of Andrew Corporation has over the years built a good reputation in the telecommunications industry and has managed to secure major supply contracts from contractors servicing telecommunications companies (Telcos) like Celcom, DiGi, Maxis and Telekom. Shannimpex’s major clients to name a few, include ENC Sdn Bhd, Smart Digital Communications Sdn Bhd, Ericsson (M) Sdn Bhd and Sapura Transmission Sdn Bhd. Shannimpex from time to time also supply spares, consummables and accessories to the Telcos.

To improve its delivery system, Shannimpex formed a logistics division in January 2004, apart from complementing its trading business, this logistics division also provide its services to other companies and have up to date built an impressive customer base. The logistics division’s services include freight forwarding, air/sea/land transportation, warehousing, customs handling & documentations.
