Tentang Sunway University, Chen Lab

The Chen lab in the Department of Biological, Sunway University, works mainly on the biology and physiology of photosynthetic organisms such as plants and microalgae. These include topics such as the use of transgenic microalgae for industrial production of proteins and metabolites, experimental evolution of heat tolerance in coral algae symbionts (zooxanthellae/Symbiodiniaceae), auxin interaction between algae and plants, and eutrophication control of urban lakes.
