About the role
Three Leaves Sdn Bhd, a leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand with Minirain company, is seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expansion within the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Lead Generation

Identify and approach potential partners, retailers, resellers, or stockists (online/offline).
Assist in cold calling, emailing, and follow-ups with prospects.
Maintain a sales pipeline and track conversions.
Follow up to ensure timely orders and payment collection
Monitor stockist/reseller performance and repeat sales
Prepare basic sales reports and suggest improvement strategies

2. Partnership Development

Support onboarding and relationship management of resellers and distributors.
Provide product knowledge and training materials to partners.
Gather feedback from partners and suggest improvements.

3. Market Research & Expansion

Conduct simple market research on competitors and new customer segments.
Recommend potential new channels (online marketplaces, retail shops, exhibitions).

4. Sales Admin & CRM

Prepare quotations, agreements, and follow-up documents.
Update CRM tools or Google Sheets with partner and customer details.
Track and monitor KPIs (e.g., reseller count, revenue, reorders).

5. Marketing & Campaign Support

Assist in planning promotions, bundle offers, and partner-exclusive deals.
Coordinate with the marketing team to prepare sales materials (e.g., brochures, posters, WhatsApp templates).
Support event/expo preparation (if applicable).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless delivery and support for new business initiatives

Who you'll work with:

Marketing team (for promotions and branding)
E-commerce team (for affiliate partner support)
Live host/content creator (for bundle promotions and customer insights)
Graphic designer (for marketing support to resellers)
Operations Team – for stock availability

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in new business development or sales within the FMCG industry
Strong understanding of the FMCG market, including key players, trends and customer needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence stakeholders
Proven track record of successfully identifying, securing and managing new business opportunities
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies
Highly motivated, self-driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Fluent in English and Mandarin (Spoken and Written) is essential, as this role may require communication with Mandarin speaking stakeholders. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
Diploma and Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
