An established multinational organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for its Malaysia operations. This is a highly visible role that offers broad exposure across financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting, taxation, treasury, compliance, and process improvement.

Your new role

As the key finance representative in Malaysia, you will work closely with regional finance leadership and local stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and effective business support. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys both operational finance and strategic business partnering within a growing and dynamic environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably with responsibility for a full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, treasury, audit, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience managing month-end close, management reporting, statutory audits, and tax matters.
• Experience working within a multinational or regional reporting environment is an advantage.
• Exposure to capital-intensive industries, infrastructure, technology, real estate, industrial, engineering, or project-based environments would be highly beneficial.
• Strong understanding of CAPEX management, fixed assets, project accounting, and financial controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment.
