Full Time Commis Jobs, Salary up to MYR 1,900 in Crowne Plaza Penang Straits City Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis to join our Culinary team and support the preparation of quality food for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes and hotel standards.
• Prepare ingredients and complete basic food preparation tasks.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements at all times.
• Properly store and handle food ingredients to minimize wastage.
• Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
• Support buffet, banquet, and restaurant food preparation when required.
• Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and other senior chefs.

Requirements

• Culinary qualification or relevant kitchen experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a passion for culinary are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Willing to learn and develop culinary skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
