• Bachelor's Degree, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design or a related engineering field.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, including 3D modelling and 2D drawing preparation.
• Knowledge of automation systems, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Batu Kawan, Penang. The ideal candidate should have experience in mechanical design, proficiency in SolidWorks, and knowledge of automation systems.

• Develop and prepare 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, and mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
• Design mechanical components, assemblies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling according to project requirements.
• Review and modify engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical specifications.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.
• Support the development and improvement of automation systems and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and recommend effective engineering solutions.
• Ensure all design documentation is properly maintained and updated.
• Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by management.
