Staff Nurse

Jasper Lodge is a professionally managed nursing home network led by doctors and supported by nurses, physiotherapists and patient care professionals.

We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our team, providing nursing care, monitoring residents and working closely with our doctors and care team.

This is a hands-on role for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with residents and providing safe, attentive and personalised care.

Your Responsibilities

Nursing & Clinical Care

• Provide day-to-day nursing care for elderly residents
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform wound care and other nursing procedures when required
• Monitor residents’ nutrition, hydration and elimination
• Identify changes in residents’ condition and escalate appropriately
• Assist doctors during assessments and follow up on medical instructions
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records and care documentation

Resident Care & Support

• Assist residents with activities of daily living when required
• Assist with transfers, mobility, toileting, feeding and positioning
• Support residents with rehabilitation and mobility programmes
• Work closely with physiotherapists and care staff
• Ensure residents are comfortable, safe and treated with dignity
• Communicate with family members regarding residents’ care when appropriate

Teamwork & Operations

• Work closely with our doctors, physiotherapists and patient care team
• Participate in care planning and resident reviews
• Ensure proper infection control and nursing-home standards are maintained
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and organised care environment

Who We’re Looking For

• Registered Staff Nurse with valid Malaysian nursing registration
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Experience in elderly care, nursing homes, rehabilitation or post-hospitalisation care is an advantage
• Fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome to apply
• Caring, patient and respectful towards elderly residents
• Good clinical judgement and communication skills
• Comfortable with hands-on nursing and basic caregiving duties
• Responsible, reliable and able to work well as part of a team
