Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented M&E Drafter Intern to join our construction team. This internship provides an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in preparing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) drawings, using AutoCAD, and assisting engineers with construction drawing coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating M&E drawings using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Support engineers in preparing mechanical and electrical layouts based on design sketches and technical specifications.
• Assist in revising drawings according to engineers' comments and project requirements.
• Learn to read and interpret M&E drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Assist with coordinating M&E drawings with architectural and structural drawings.
• Maintain proper drawing files, documentation, and revision records.
• Perform other drafting and administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Drafting, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn about M&E systems and construction drawings.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn from engineers and experienced drafters.
