Salary: RM7,500 – RM10,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a Register Energy Manager Type 2 to join our Engineering team and lead the company's energy management, energy efficiency and conservation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, monitor and analyse company energy consumption data.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Energy Management System (EnMS).
• Prepare accurate Energy Efficiency and Conservation Reports.
• Identify, recommend and monitor energy-saving and efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate energy audits with registered energy auditors.
• Follow up on energy audit findings and recommendations.
• Manage Energy Intensity Label applications and monitor building energy performance.
• Advise management and relevant departments on energy efficiency and conservation measures.
• Liaise with Suruhanjaya Tenaga, energy auditors, consultants and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable energy efficiency requirements and guidelines.
• Perform other energy management duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Register Energy Manager (Type 2) certificate with Suruhanjaya Tenaga is mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in energy management, engineering, facilities or building management.
• Experience in building, facilities or industrial environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Malaysian energy efficiency and conservation requirements.
• Willing to relocate and work 6 days per week.
