Sepenuh Masa Lab Technician Jobs, salary up to MYR 2,800 in Century Bond Berhad Senai - Maukerja

·         Diploma/Certificate in Science, Chemistry, or related field.

·         1–2 years’ experience in quality or laboratory testing (packaging industry preferred).

·         Knowledge of physical testing methods, lab equipment handling, and data recording.

·         Detail-oriented, precise, and able to work independently.

1.       Laboratory Testing & Analysis

·         Perform routine tests such as BCT (Bursting/Box Compression), ECT, GSM, Cobb, moisture content, glue strength, and other customer-required tests.

·         Analyze results, record findings, and report abnormalities to QA Engineer.

·         Conduct first-article testing and verify results before production approval.

2.       Sample Preparation & Retention

·         Prepare samples for testing (incoming materials, in-process, finished goods).

·         Maintain sample retention according to company/customer requirements.

3.       Equipment & Calibration

·         Operate laboratory instruments safely and accurately.

·         Perform basic equipment checks and coordinate calibration with QA Engineer.

·         Maintain calibration and maintenance records.

4.       Documentation & Reporting

·         Complete test records, data sheets, and maintain traceable lab logs.

·         File test results and provide reports for quality analysis.

5.       Support for Non-Conformance & Customer Complaints

·         Provide lab data and analysis to support root cause investigations.

·         Assist in verification of corrective actions through testing.

6.       GMP, Safety & Housekeeping

·         Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of laboratory area.

·         Follow laboratory safety procedures and use PPE as required.

7.       Audit & Compliance Support

·         Present lab records and demonstrate testing procedures during internal, external, and customer audits.

8.       Others

·         Perform other tasks or ad-hoc assignments as directed by superior.

·         Hold or reject material/product lots based on test results.

·         Request re-testing or further investigation if results are out of specification
