Full Time R & D ASSIST MANAGER / EXECUTIVE (NON-HALAL FOOD INDUSTRY) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 7,500 in De Luxe Circle (M) Johor - Maukerja

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Food Science/ Food Technology/ Culinology

Candidates with 3-5 years related experience in Food Manufacturing industry is an added advantage

Well-versed with HACCP & GMP management systems and other food-related regulations

Analytical, well organized, good project management skills and well-equipped with multi-tasking ability.

Willing to travel when required

Team player and good communication skills

Proactive in seeking solutions and solving problems

Independent and able to work with minimal supervision

Prefer candidate able to speak & write Mandarin as this role required to communicate with internal and external party who speak Mandarin. 

Candidate must possess own transport and able to work in Taman Tan Sri Yaacob, Skudai.

Responsible in all research and development of products related activities

To develop and formulate new products and improve existing products to optimize productivity and cost

To work with customers on all activities related to new product development

To conduct sensory evaluation for new and existing product samples

To apply research into aspects of food processing, food preservation, food quality, food deterioration, packaging, storage and machinery.

To coordinate trial run with relevant departments for new products

To train junior and always supervise them for R&D job

To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior/management from time to time

To manage all R&D processes, procedures and documentation

To track and manage product development projects, reporting development status and making recommendations for action.

Responsible for R&D weekly meetings

To provide technical support to sales and marketing

To continuously work on new raw materials suitability for product improvement, material replacement and cost savings

Passionate in research and innovation with positive mind set in handling failure

To work closely with production team on product's quality and planning

To coordinate with relevant department for new products innovation

To coordinate between team for machinery upgrade and process improvement
