Job Description

Requirements

  • Assist in daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, managing ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

  • Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and vendor management.

  • Support the accounts receivable function by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both digital and physical, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Perform data entry for various financial documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, scanning, and responding to basic inquiries.

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and maintaining financial spreadsheets.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures as directed by senior accounting staff.

  • Learn and apply accounting principles and practices relevant to a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME).

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry for various financial documents and update accounting software with relevant information.

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, scanning, and responding to inquiries.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures as directed by the senior accountant.

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and spreadsheet management.
