Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in an Account Executive role or a similar client-facing position within the accounting or tax services industry.

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and practices, with the ability to manage client accounts accurately.

  • Solid understanding of tax compliance regulations and procedures relevant to businesses in Malaysia.

  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports, identifying key trends and insights for clients.

  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB) and CRM systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong desire to contribute to client success and company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Prepare and file various tax returns (corporate, individual, etc.) accurately and timely, staying updated on the latest tax laws and changes.

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, generating insightful reports to support client decision-making and identify areas for financial improvement.

  • Utilize accounting software to maintain client ledgers, reconcile accounts, and process financial transactions efficiently.

  • Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on bookkeeping best practices, tax planning strategies, and financial management.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for all accounting and tax-related inquiries.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm.
