Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in civil engineering projects, preferably within the construction or building sector.

Proficiency in Civil Engineering software and design tools.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes relevant to Malaysia.

Excellent command of both English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an onsite capacity at the Pontian District Health Office.

Experience in project coordination, site supervision, and quality control is highly desirable.

Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes in Johor, Malaysia.

Oversee and manage all phases of civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project feasibility, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using relevant software, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.

Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.

Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure the structural integrity and safety of all construction projects.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and the public, to provide project updates and address concerns.

Analyze and resolve technical challenges that arise during the construction process, implementing innovative solutions.

Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and final project documentation for review and approval.

Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations and sustainable building practices.
