Requirements
• At least Diploma in any field or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a purchasing-related function.
• Fresh Graduates with relevant internship experience is encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with working experience in the electronic distributor / supplier industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on semi-conductor products, material planning, forecast analysis and inventory management will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, Oracle
• Good time management and good handling of work pressure
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive problem solving, follow-up, analytical skills and negotiation skills.
• Efficient, enthusiastic and resourceful with “Can-do” attitude
Responsibilities
• Purchase assigned line of products
• Supply and demand analysis
• PO backlog management, schedule checking, reschedules and cancellations
• Handle urgent and drop shipment, follow up supplier on–time delivery
• Inventory management, supplier stock rotation and goods return
• Communication among internal departments, warehouse and forwarders
• Discrepancy follow up with supplier, CS, Sales and PDC.
