Full Time Port Safety Assistant, Port Security & Safety (Security) Jobs, in MMC Corporation Berhad Johor - Maukerja

Minimum five (5) creditsin theSijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)examination, includingBahasa MalaysiaandHistory.

Candidates must successfully pass a vision assessmentfor both the left and right eyes, tested separately, with a minimum visual acuity ofV/6/9without the use of corrective aids such as spectacles or contact lenses.

Must pass colour visionandhearing assessments.

Physically fit, disciplined, and capable of working in a demanding operational and security environment.

Enforce port regulations, security policies, and operational procedures to maintain a safe and secure port environment.

Conduct regular patrols and surveillance throughout Johor Port Berhad to ensure the safety of personnel, cargo, and facilities.

Handle police reports, process port entry passes, and issue various permits related to port operations.

Monitor security activities through CCTV systems, while managing incoming and outgoing communications via telephone and radio with all security posts.

Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and operational issues in accordance with established procedures.

Assist in preliminary investigations involving criminal cases, accidents, or security breaches, and prepare reports for the Investigating Officer or Incident Commander.

Work closely with the Senior Security Supervisor to provide updates, resolve operational issues, and ensure assigned duties are carried out effectively.

Assist in issuing compounds, making arrests where authorized, administering basic first aid, and escorting detainees when required.

Maintain accurate incident records, reports, and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Support emergency response activities and contribute to continuous improvements in port safety and security operations.
