Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager / Project Engineer to plan, manage and monitor project progress from commencement to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities and project teams to ensure smooth project execution according to specifications, budget and quality standards.

Job Requirements

Education
• SPM, Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Candidates with an interest in Construction & Engineering are encouraged to apply.

Experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome. Training will be provided.
• Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Site Supervisor or Project Coordinator in the construction industry is an added advantage.
• Experience in Pipe Jacking, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), Micro tunnelling or Trenchless Technology is an added advantage.

Skills
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work outdoors and travel to project sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Possess a valid Class D driving licence.

• Plan, manage and monitor project progress from commencement to completion.

• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities and project management team.

• Supervise daily site activities and prepare daily progress reports.

• Coordinate and monitor site works to ensure smooth project execution.

• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure works are completed on time.

• Manage and supervise the delivery of materials, machinery and equipment to site.

• Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to the project team.

• Ensure projects are completed within budget, according to specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor and enforce quality control, safety regulations and company policies.

• Ensure the safety of the public, existing underground utilities and services during construction.

• Conduct regular site inspections and attend project meetings.

• Willing to travel and work outstation when required.
