Job Description

We are looking for an MIS Officer to ensure the smooth daily operation of IT systems and provide technical support for store operations. You will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting daily business operations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Studies. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with 3–4 years of relevant experience in the retail or service sector are welcome.

• SPM holders with more than 5 years of experience in a similar role within the retail or service sector are encouraged to apply.

• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and POS systems.

• Able to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to support store operations when required.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth daily operation of IT systems, including Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD) processes.

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, POS, and network issues.

• Maintain LAN, servers, workstations, system backups, software updates, and data integrity.

• Coordinate IT equipment maintenance and liaise with vendors for technical support when required.

• Perform routine maintenance of computer and POS equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor system security and ensure compliance with IT policies, including preventing unauthorized software installation.

• Support store operations through system administration, stocktake activities, price verification, and audit reporting.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and relevant statutory requirements.

• Assist in IT projects, documentation, reporting, and any other duties assigned by management.
