Requirements
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, MRO supplies, and IT equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery to support the company's 100,000-ton annual steel coil processing capacity.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on optimizing inventory levels and minimizing carrying costs for steel coils and related materials.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards, leveraging knowledge of the steel industry and market dynamics.
Provide comprehensive IT support to approximately 100 employees, including hardware troubleshooting, software installation and configuration (e.g., ERP systems, office productivity suites), and network maintenance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, utilizing ERP systems and other inventory management tools to track stock levels, forecast demand, and prevent stockouts or overstocking of steel products and consumables.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and IT requirements, ensuring seamless integration and support for operational efficiency.
Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or service to ensure a reliable supply chain.
Stay abreast of technological advancements and procurement best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to IT infrastructure and purchasing processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement and IT-related activities.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication with stakeholders, suppliers, and employees.

Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of raw materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met.
Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, including hardware troubleshooting, software installation and maintenance, network administration, and user support to ensure smooth IT operations.
Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts of critical materials, utilizing ERP systems for accurate tracking.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conduct regular performance reviews, and negotiate favorable terms and contracts to ensure a reliable and cost-efficient supply chain.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans within the steel industry.
Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices, ensuring data security, system reliability, and timely upgrades.
Assist in the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of ERP systems and other relevant software, ensuring they meet the needs of both the purchasing and IT departments.
