Full Time Banquet Executive Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in Forest City Golf Hotel Johor - Maukerja

Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Minimum 3 years of banquet or F&B service experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership and organizational skills; able to lead a team under pressure.

Well-groomed, friendly, and professional appearance and manner.

Detail-oriented, service-minded, and adaptable to changing event needs.

Must be prepared to perform work shifts and long hours, including weekends, and public holidays.

Able to communicate in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsible for overseeing the preparation, setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, and special functions.

Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and ensure all setup and service requirements are met.

Supervise the arrangement of tables, chairs, stages, buffet lines, AV equipment, and decorations as per client specifications.

Conduct pre-function checks to confirm readiness before guest arrival.

Lead and assign tasks to banquet servers and setup crew for smooth event operations.

Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details, VIP guests, timelines, and duties.

Train new staff and ensure all team members follow service standards, grooming guidelines, and safety protocols.

Monitor and support food and beverage service during events, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction.

Handle special meal requests, dietary needs, and VIP service personally or via assigned team members.

Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the event space during the function.

Act as the point of contact for event organizers or hosts during functions.

Handle complaints or last-minute changes quickly and professionally, escalating to management if necessary.
