Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a combined HR and accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in human resources management principles and practices, including employee relations, onboarding, and basic HR compliance.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, and financial data entry.
Experience in payroll processing, including understanding of relevant Malaysian payroll regulations and statutory contributions.
Excellent administrative support skills, including efficient record keeping, document management, and general office organization.
Proficiency in using accounting software and HR information systems (HRIS) for data entry, record keeping, and basic financial reporting.
Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with compliance requirements related to both HR and accounting in Malaysia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the full spectrum of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
Support the accounting department with daily transactional tasks, including accounts payable processing, invoice verification, and expense claim management.
Assist in preparing financial reports, bank reconciliations, and other accounting documentation as required.
Provide administrative support to both HR and Accounting departments, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant statutory regulations in both HR and accounting matters.
Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll, providing clear and timely responses.
Support the implementation and maintenance of HR and accounting systems and processes.
Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the HR and Finance departments.
