Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3–5 years of experience as a CNC Trainee, CNC Grinder, or similar role in precision engineering.

Proven skills in operating and setting up Rollomatic CNC grinding machines.

Strong ability to accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints.

Experience in quality control procedures and dimensional inspection to ensure product accuracy.

Knowledge of various cutting tools, tool setting, and machining process optimisation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace safety protocols.

Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are an added advantage.

The Rollomatic CNC Machinist sets up, programs, and operates multi-axis Rollomatic CNC grinding machines (such as the GrindSmart or ShapeSmart series) to manufacture high-precision cutting tools, micro-tools, and medical components. This role requires grinding complex geometries on carbide and HSS while maintaining sub-micron tolerances and flawless surface finishes.

Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate Rollomatic CNC grinding machines, including wheel pack changes, collet adjustments, and robotic loader synchronization.

Programming & Editing: Load, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Rollomatic software (VirtualGrind Pro). Adjust wheel paths, feeds, speeds, and grinding sequences to meet exact specs.

Precision Tool Grinding: Grind high-precision punch, reamers and custom micro-tools from solid carbide or HSS blanks.

Wheel Profile Dressing: Select, mount, and dress diamond and CBN wheel packs. Measure and input wheel qualification data into the CNC controller.

In-Process Quality Control: Perform first-article and in-process inspections using ultra-precision metrology equipment (e.g. profile projectors, laser micrometers) to guarantee tolerances down to the micron level.
