Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of payroll or HR operations experience.
Good knowledge of Malaysian payroll practices, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and employment requirements.
Experience using payroll systems or HRIS.
Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Able to manage payroll deadlines and handle confidential information professionally.
Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process monthly payroll activities, including salary, allowances, overtime, deductions, incentives, and other payroll-related payments.
Verify payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, overtime, new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, and employee movements before payroll processing.
Ensure timely and accurate submission and payment of statutory contributions and deductions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other applicable requirements.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, personal information, bank details, salary changes, and related HR data in the HRIS/payroll system.
Prepare payroll reports, reconciliation, headcount reports, and other HR reports required by management or Finance.
Coordinate with Finance on payroll funding, payment reconciliation, accounting entries, and payroll-related matters.
Handle employee enquiries relating to salary, payslips, deductions, statutory contributions, leave, attendance, and payroll matters.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including payroll setup, final salary calculation, leave balance, and statutory documentation.
Administer employee benefits, allowances, insurance, and other compensation-related matters where required.
Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies, employment terms, statutory requirements, and applicable labour regulations.
Support payroll audits, statutory inspections, internal audits, and preparation of required supporting documents.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee compensation and personal information.
Monitor payroll-related issues and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control.
Support other HR operational activities and projects as assigned.
