Requirements
Ensure compliance with all relevant Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and local Malaysian safety standards.
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive emergency response plans, including drills and training for all employees.
Oversee the proper selection, use, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all work sites, ensuring adequate supply and employee adherence.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and developing preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
Provide safety training and education to all employees, covering topics such as hazard communication, safe work practices, and emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection findings.
Collaborate with management and employees to foster a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Stay updated on the latest safety regulations, best practices, and technological advancements in the construction industry.
Assist in the development and review of safety policies and procedures to ensure they align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and conduct safety training programs for all employees, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency procedures, safe work practices, and the correct use of equipment.
Lead and manage emergency response planning, including drills and simulations, to ensure preparedness for various scenarios such as fires, medical emergencies, and chemical spills.
Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes, documenting findings, and implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including training logs, inspection reports, incident reports, and compliance records, and prepare regular safety performance reports for management.
Collaborate with management, department heads, and employees to foster a strong safety culture throughout the organization, promoting proactive safety awareness and engagement.
Ensure that all safety equipment is regularly inspected, maintained, and calibrated according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on the latest developments, regulations, and best practices in occupational safety and health, and recommend improvements to existing safety programs.
