Job Description

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid GDL (Goods Driving Licence).

  • Previous experience as a lorry driver is preferred.

  • Good driving skills and knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.

  • Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading goods.

  • Responsible, punctual and able to follow delivery schedules.

  • Able to work independently with a positive working attitude.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive company lorry to deliver goods and materials to assigned locations.

  2. Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time.

  3. Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.

  4. Check and ensure goods and quantities are correct during delivery.

  5. Follow all traffic regulations and company safety procedures.

  6. Communicate with the operations team regarding delivery schedules, delays or other issues.

  7. Take reasonable care of the assigned company vehicle.
