Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role located in Bayan Lepas. The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs based on technical drawings and specifications, ensuring efficient machining processes and high-quality output. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and cutting parameters, setting up milling and machining operations, and troubleshooting programming and production issues. The role also involves collaborating with machinists and engineers, performing test runs, validating part dimensions, and maintaining documentation for programs and workflow. The CNC Programmer is expected to support continuous improvement initiatives, adhere to safety and quality standards, and contribute to meeting production deadlines.
Qualifications

• Strong CNC Programming skills, including experience with G-code and relevant CNC software
• Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawing and engineering blueprints accurately
• Hands-on experience in Machining and Milling operations, including tooling and setup
• Solid Programming mindset for process optimization, problem-solving, and cycle-time reduction
• Relevant technical certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Familiarity with quality control practices, measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers), and tolerances
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to work on-site in a production environment and comply with safety and operational procedures
