Role Description This is an on-site internship Cashier role based in Tebrau. The Cashier intern will handle customer transactions, process payments, issue receipts, and manage cash and electronic payments with accuracy. Daily tasks include greeting customers, answering basic inquiries, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and supporting stock replenishment near the cashier counter when needed. The role also involves following company procedures for returns and exchanges, balancing the cash drawer at the end of shifts under supervision, and escalating any discrepancies or customer issues to the supervisor. Interns are expected to adhere to company policies, uphold excellent customer service standards, and work collaboratively with the store team.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess basic numeracy and cash-handling skills, with the ability to process transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Candidates should possess strong customer service abilities, including clear communication, patience, and a courteous, professional manner with diverse customers.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain tidy checkout areas and follow procedures for receipts, returns, and record-keeping.
• Candidates should possess fundamental computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills or be willing to learn new systems quickly.
• Candidates should possess reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site in Tebrau according to scheduled shifts.
• Candidates should possess a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment; prior retail or cashier experience is helpful but not required.
• Candidates should possess at least a high school education or equivalent; current students seeking practical experience in customer-facing roles are encouraged to apply.
