About The Company

Our client is an established manufacturing company seeking a proactive and hands-on Project Engineer / Assistant Engineer to support new project introductions, manufacturing process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing performance.

About The Job

• Support new project activities, ensuring smooth implementation and manufacturing readiness.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and develop process work instructions for new products and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Apply engineering principles and techniques to optimise manufacturing processes and operational performance.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer requirements and operational objectives.
• Support compliance with the company's quality and environmental management systems.
  
  

About The Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in project coordination, BOM preparation, process documentation, or manufacturing process improvement.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and quality management practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
