Full Time Engineering Manager Jobs, Salary up to MYR 9,000 in FOREST CITY HOTEL Johor - Maukerja

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to minimise equipment breakdowns and ensure the reliability of hotel facilities.
• Supervise, lead, and guide the engineering team, including technicians and team leaders, to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and according to established standards.
• Monitor and manage electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning and ventilation (HVAC), plumbing, water supply, and other building systems.
• Coordinate and prioritise repair and maintenance requests from hotel departments to minimise operational disruptions and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Plan and manage the Engineering Department’s budget, including maintenance expenses, equipment purchases, spare parts, and cost-control measures.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, fire safety requirements, environmental standards, and hotel operating procedures.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialised repairs, inspections, servicing, and maintenance works.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, work orders, and departmental reports.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and identify potential risks, equipment defects, and opportunities for improvement.
• Respond to engineering emergencies and breakdowns promptly, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Work closely with other departments and management to support hotel operations, renovation projects, and facility improvement initiatives.

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
