Full Time Mechanical Fitter (Palm Oil Mill) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in Malpom Industries Berhad Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection and repair of mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Carry out fitting, alignment, dismantling and installation of mechanical components.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining machinery such as conveyors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, sterilizers, digesters, screw presses and other mill equipment.
• Identify mechanical faults and perform troubleshooting to minimize machinery breakdowns and production downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Assist with welding, cutting, grinding and fabrication works when required.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, including bearings, seals, belts, chains and other mechanical components.
• Assist the Engineering Department during mill shutdowns, major repairs and overhaul activities.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
• Complete maintenance records and report machinery defects, breakdowns and repair progress to the supervisor.
• Perform other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM, SKM or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting or a related field.
• 1–2 years of working experience in mechanical fitting, machinery maintenance or a related field.
• Experience in a palm oil mill or heavy industrial environment will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical components, fitting tools, machinery repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to work in an industrial environment.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required.
• Good safety awareness and ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
