Demonstrate a foundational understanding of troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

Familiarity with basic equipment maintenance procedures and preventative care.

Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety procedures and protocols.

Ability to assist in quality control checks and identify potential defects.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

Eagerness to learn and apply technical knowledge in a practical manufacturing environment.

Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team setting.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes within the metal and plastic packaging industry is a plus.

Perform routine maintenance and repair on various manufacturing equipment, including machinery for metal and plastic component production, to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or operational issues with production machinery, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic tools.

Adhere strictly to all established safety procedures and protocols while operating machinery, handling materials, and performing maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Implement and monitor quality control checks throughout the production process, inspecting finished metal and plastic components to verify they meet specified standards and customer requirements.

Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper integration into the existing production line.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and equipment performance, contributing to a comprehensive asset management system.

Collaborate effectively with production teams and senior technicians to address equipment malfunctions, implement preventative maintenance schedules, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
