Position: Chef de Partie (CDP)

Location: Bertam Resort & Water Park Penang

We are looking for a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic Culinary Team and deliver exceptional dining experiences in line with international hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations within the assigned section.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, taste, and portion control.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in accordance with HACCP requirements.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen team members.
• Monitor food preparation, inventory, wastage, and cost control.
• Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in menu planning and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and Marriott brand standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience with a Marriott-branded hotel is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Good leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
