Process & Equipment Technician – Underfill / Dispensing / Asymtek
Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Process & Equipment Technician to support production operations involving Underfill, Dispensing and Asymtek processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine operation, process monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining product quality in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, set up and monitor Underfill and Dispensing machines, including Asymtek equipment.
- Perform machine adjustments, recipe setting and product changeovers.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machine and process-related issues and support corrective actions.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance.
- Support process improvement, yield improvement and production activities.
- Maintain proper production records and comply with SOP, safety, ESD and 5S requirements.
Requirements
- SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or related fields.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience in Underfill, Dispensing and/or Asymtek equipment is preferred.
- Able to perform machine setup, operation, troubleshooting and process monitoring.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willing to work on shifts when required.
