Job Description

• Plan and conduct fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning activities for young children.
• Prepare teaching materials, classroom activities, and daily lesson plans according to the school curriculum.
• Guide children in developing academic skills, social skills, confidence, and independence.
• Create a safe, clean, caring, and positive learning environment.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, rest time, and outdoor play.
• Assist children with daily routines, including eating, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Observe and record children’s learning progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Communicate with parents professionally regarding children’s progress, daily routines, and needs.
• Work closely with fellow teachers and the school management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organise teaching resources, and ensure children’s safety at all times.
• Participate in school events, celebrations, meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher activities.
• Support the school’s teaching philosophy in nurturing confident, independent, responsible, and self-reliant children.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience OR a married candidate with child(ren).
• Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.
• Patient, caring, responsible, and able to manage children positively.
• Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn, accept feedback, and improve teaching skills.
• Able to work independently and cooperate well with a team.
• Responsible, punctual, and committed to a long-term position.
• Willing to participate in occasional weekend training sessions and school events.
