Job Vacancy: Senior Account Associate (Skudai)

Location: AMR Business Consultant Group Sdn Bhd, Skudai, Johor

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Salary: Starting from RM 2700 up to RM 3100

Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Account Senior to be based at our branch (Skudai). This role suits an ex-auditor or accounting firm background candidate who is resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing both numbers and people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review full sets of accounts and financial statements
• Oversee client accounting portfolios and ensure quality deliverables
• Assist and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion
• Liaise with clients’ management to obtain information, resolve issues, and provide practical recommendations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements
• Guide, supervise, and support accounting and audit team members
• Manage deadlines and ensure work is completed on time
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and operational matters as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• MIA membership (or qualified to apply)
• Ex-auditor / experience in accounting firm is required
• Minimum 1 years relevant working experience
• Able to handle multiple types of accounting systems/software
• Strong stress management skills and able to work under pressure
• Mature, patient, and able to handle different personalities professionally
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia
• Independent, responsible, and able to multitask effectively
