Full Time Conveyancing Lawyer (Branch Lead, Kempas JB) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 7,000 in Johor - Maukerja

The most important requirement is solid hands-on experience in conveyancing work.

• LLB / CLP (or equivalent) — admitted to the Malaysian Bar

• Strong post-admission experience in conveyancing (the more, the better)

• Proven ability to handle a full caseload independently — sub-sale, developer projects, refinancing, perfection of transfer/charge

• Strong working knowledge of the National Land Code, Stamp Act, Real Property Gains Tax and Housing Development Act

• Experience dealing with major panel banks (Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, RHB, HLB, etc.)

• Familiarity with e-Tanah, e-Consent and STAMPS systems

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a strong advantage

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, client-facing and ethical, with leadership instincts to mentor staff

Must hold a valid Practising Certificate, with at least 3 years post-admission conveyancing experience. Based in or willing to work from Kempas, Johor Bahru. Malaysians only. Background check required.

Alan & Tan is expanding into Johor Bahru with a new branch in Kempas (easily accessible from Skudai, Tampoi and Tebrau). We are looking for a seasoned conveyancing lawyer to run the branch and grow with the firm — someone who wants to build something, take ownership and rise together with us.

• Run the conveyancing practice at the Kempas branch independently

• Manage end-to-end Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA), loan documentation, perfection of transfer/charge, and sub-sale/developer transactions

• Liaise directly with banks, developers, land offices and clients

• Supervise and train support staff and junior conveyancing clerks

• Build client relationships alongside the firm’s growing JB presence

• Ensure compliance with Bar Council guidelines, AMLA and firm SOPs
