Full Time Operation Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in IX TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. Johor - Maukerja

A. Operations and Maintenance

· Monitor the daily operation and performance of engineering systems, equipment and facilities.

· Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities.

· Identify, investigate and troubleshoot equipment faults, system abnormalities and operational issues.

· Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance works.

· Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities and operational incidents.

B. Engineering and Technical Support

· Provide technical support for electrical, mechanical and other engineering systems.

· Review technical drawings, equipment specifications, operation manuals and maintenance procedures.

· Assist in the testing, commissioning and handover of new equipment and engineering systems.

· Analyse recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive measures.

· Support engineering improvement projects to enhance system reliability, efficiency and safety.

C. Safety and Compliance

· Ensure all operational and maintenance activities comply with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.

· Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate safe work procedures are followed.

· Ensure proper implementation of permit-to-work, lockout/tagout and other applicable safety controls.

· Report incidents, equipment defects and potential safety hazards promptly.

· Maintain relevant inspection, maintenance and compliance documentation.

D. Project and Vendor Coordination

· Coordinate with project teams on equipment installation, testing, commissioning and rectification works.

· Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on technical and operational matters.

· Monitor work progress, quality and adherence to project schedules.

· Assist in evaluating equipment performance and recommending suitable technical solutions.

· Support the preparation of technical reports, method statements and maintenance schedules.

E. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

· Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational and maintenance reports.

· Monitor key performance indicators such as equipment uptime, maintenance completion and fault response time.

· Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.

· Recommend measures to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment lifespan.

· Participate in troubleshooting reviews, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Implement quality control procedures, inspections and testing requirements.

· Coordinate testing and commissioning, defect rectification and final handover.

· Ensure proper documentation, risk assessments and safe work procedures are maintained.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in engineering operations, facilities management, maintenance or M&E projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with workplace safety requirements and maintenance procedures.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams, clients and external contractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site or outside normal working hours when operational requirements demand it.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
