Full Time Junior Quantity Surveyor Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in SYB Project Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or the construction industry.

Good knowledge of cost estimation, quantity take-off, cost control, and tendering processes.

Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Familiar with subcontractor and supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, and price comparison.

Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Carry out quantity take-off and cost estimation based on construction drawings and specifications.

Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quotations, budgets, and cost reports.

Source quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and carry out quotation comparison and cost analysis.

Assist in tender preparation, tender pricing, subcontractor evaluation, and contract-related matters.

Prepare and submit progress claims and evaluate subcontractors’ progress claims.

Monitor and manage Variation Orders (VO), additional works, and related costs.

Monitor project budgets and actual costs to ensure effective cost control.

Maintain project commercial documents, contracts, quotations, and cost records.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Assist in the preparation and verification of project final accounts.
