Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is an advantage but fresh candidates are welcome
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Willing to work on shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Good teamwork and communication and time management skills
- Responsible and disciplined and committed to food quality and hygiene
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fried chicken according to company Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure all food is cooked to the required quality and taste and presentation standards
- Monitor cooking times and oil quality and equipment performance
- Keep the kitchen and cooking equipment and workstations clean and sanitised
- Ensure enough ingredient stock and inform the supervisor of any shortage
- Follow health and safety and food handling guidelines at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing and rotating stock using the FIFO method
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours
