Position: Production Manager
Salary: MYR10,000 – MYR20,000
Working location: Iskandar Puteri, JB
Working day Mon - Fri
Working hours 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Development of manufacturing routes for new components.
• Designing for manufacturability, creating new processes, validation of existing.
• New or external manufacturing processes and establishing manufacturing systems to drive and improve common work streams.
• Oversees the new product introduction, sustaining, systems and or engineering service responsibilities
• Provides technical support to manufacturing and improve productivity and reduce costs
• Design fixtures
• Help with setting of new products and prove out new fixture
• Development of Machine Operators competence
• Organise Regular maintenance of work equipment & machines to ensure good running order.
• Management of any non-conformances.
• Co-ordinating hand-over between day and night shift where necessary.
• Maintain good housekeeping at entire manufacturing area
• Work with QA team on CA/PA
• Communicates status to all projects including issues encountered, resolutions and conflicts to all levels of management
• In-charge of closing of jobs in oder to review actual against cost.
• Supports Sales Team on estimation of hours.
• Monthly update on margin performance focusing on manufacturing to Fianance and management.
• Ensure team discipline on clocking and no skipped operation.
• Work with quality team on non conformance and customer’s complaints.
• Any other task assigned by immediate superior

Accountabilities:

• Control of tool and insert
• Programming of CNC lathe and machining centre machine tools.
• On time delivery performance of more than 95% monthly
• Ensure components to customer requirements, Right First Time and within allocated time.
• Identification and purchasing of tooling required for manufacturing purposes.
• Participation in tenders relating to New Product Introduction.
• Look at process/program improvements
• Report any misdemeanours
• Accurate time recording on both Route Sheets and Production Management System.
• Adherence to company QHSE Policy.

Requirements
Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years proven experience in a precision engineering environment.
• Computer literate and familiar with CNC programming and software packages.
• Good knowledge of the Fanuc operating system is essential.
• Knowledge of latest version of in-house CadCam software would be preferred.
• Capable of working under own initiative.
• Methodical approach to problem solving and manufacturing route development.
• Multi-tasking and ability to deal and interact with people from difference sections.
• Ability to co-ordinate people and promote team work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly to all level of people.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
