Full Time Senior Buyer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,500 in Inter Island Johor - Maukerja

Key responsibilities

• Source consumables, services, and materials in the most cost-effective and time-efficient manner to meet organisation needs
• Forecast and plan for consumables, services, and materials procurement to support production
• Work closely with Operations and Planning team to achieve optimised supplier deliveries within inventory targets
• Plan and coordinate timely delivery of purchases to meet the organisation's on-time-delivery requirements
• Drive cost saving without compromising overall quality and mitigate the risk of single source by expanding the supply base
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of vendors in terms of delivery and product quality
• Maintain database for consumables, services, materials, vendors, prices and expenditures
• Ensure compliance with the company standards on purchasing policy and procedures
• Plan and release job order to meet shipment plan based on forecast, customer order and capacity
• Plan material to support production plan and liaise with materials department on any supply constraint or shortages

About you

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain management in precision industry
• Experience from aerospace / manufacturing industry will be preferred
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
• High attention to detail
• Organised and ability to follow through from sourcing to delivery
• Proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of machine capabilities and shop manufacturing capabilities will be an advantage

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
