We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for an established global MNC semiconductor manufacturer based in Penang. Renowned for its technological innovation and manufacturing excellence, our client is actively seeking a skilled technical professional to handle equipment commissioning, on-site process validation, and customer support.

• Set up and fine-tune equipment according to client specifications, resolve on-site anomalies, and provide critical validation data.
• Execute and validate equipment optimization plans to enhance overall system performance.
• Calibrate and service machinery, respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime, and report daily operational data and issues to the Technical Service Supervisor.
• Commission equipment in accordance with contractual acceptance criteria, ensuring all defects are resolved to meet final acceptance sign-off.
• Monitor post-installation equipment stability and proactively report field issues and technical escalations to the Technical Service Supervisor.
  
  

the experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of working experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support, preferably within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• High flexibility and willingness to undertake domestic and international business travel for extended periods of 1 to 3 months per assignment.
