Job Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain the company’s 33kV electrical power distribution system and related equipment.
• Ensure electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, protection systems and other high-voltage equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Carry out routine inspection, testing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Perform switching operations and electrical isolation in accordance with approved safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to electrical faults, breakdowns and emergency situations.
• Monitor electrical load, power consumption and system performance.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with TNB requirements, safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical operations, inspections, maintenance and breakdowns.
• Coordinate with contractors and maintenance teams for electrical installation, repair and maintenance works.
• Ensure electrical equipment and work areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition.
• Support electrical projects, equipment installation, testing and commissioning when required.
• Conduct and monitor electrical safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Perform other duties related to electrical operations and maintenance as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid Chargeman Competency Certificate suitable for 33kV systems.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in high-voltage electrical operation and maintenance.
• Experience in operating and maintaining 33kV switchgear, transformers and electrical distribution systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, protection systems and high-voltage switching procedures.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical faults and respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Willing to work on shift duty, standby or on-call basis when required.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and follow safety procedures strictly.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or plant environment will be an advantage.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
