Full Time Purchasing Assistant Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in BG Safety Solution Johor - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) based on approved purchase requisitions and sales requirements.
• Request quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, lead time and payment terms.
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmation, delivery schedules and outstanding items.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure goods received match purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Verify supplier invoices, delivery orders and purchase orders before submission to the Accounts Department.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and pricing databases.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams to replenish inventory when required.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.
• Handle product returns, delivery discrepancies, damaged goods and other supplier-related issues.
• Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or administrative work.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and purchasing documentation.
• Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in purchasing PPE, safety equipment or industrial products is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
