Here’s why this role is different:
- Own the full financial control & GL agenda for the Malaysia entity
- Partner directly with the Board, Operating Committee & Senior Leadership Team
- Drive performance management, budgeting & forecasting — not just reporting
- Take the lead on regulatory, statutory, audit & tax matters
- Lead and develop a team of 5+, with real ownership of talent and succession
- Gain regional/APAC exposure and contribute to transformation & continuous improvement
- 8-15 years of progressive finance experience, with 3+ years in people management
- ACCA / CPA / MICPA / ICAEW or equivalent
- Strong ownership of GL, financial control & month-end close
- Solid exposure to Malaysia regulatory & statutory reporting, audit, tax, budget & forecast
- Strong understanding of SOX / internal controls
- A confident stakeholder manager who can influence, challenge and communicate with senior leaders
- A hands-on people leader who knows how to develop and grow a team
