Full Time Supply Chain Manager Jobs, Salary up to MYR 11,000 in Hextar Retail Berhad Selangor - Maukerja

About us:

Finesse Moulding (M) Sdn. Bhd. makes wooden picture frame mouldings at our factory in Rawang, Selangor. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hextar Retail Berhad, certified to ISO 9001 and FSC. We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead our purchasing, inventory and logistics for both timber and non-timber materials.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain or a related field

• At least 8 years of experience in supply chain, including at least 3 years in a managerial role

• Able to speak Cantonese

• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers

• Strong with numbers and analysis, and good with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

• A proven leader who can build, coach and develop a team

• Good at strategic planning, with strong business sense

• Experience in supply chain risk management

• Experience with data analytics and digitalising processes

• Good written and spoken communication skills

• A team player

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, FSC Chain of Custody and timber legality requirements is an advantage

Working Hours:

5 days per week, following the company's working schedule

What you will do:

• Lead all supply chain operations for timber and non-timber materials, including purchasing, inventory, vendor selection and evaluation, and distribution of raw materials

• Manage the team's daily purchasing and warehouse work, solve operational issues and handle urgent requests from other departments

• Make sure all purchasing follows ISO 9001, FSC Chain of Custody, the company's ESG policy and international timber legality rules

• Act as Management Representative for the ISO quality management system and FSC Chain of Custody

• Set supply chain strategy and KPIs in line with company goals, and track performance against industry best practice

• Plan and carry out supply chain policies and improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods

• Review inventory records, find discrepancies or storage problems, and fix them

• Provide purchasing and inventory reports to other departments, such as timber preparation productivity and stock value reports, to help production use materials better

• Answer data requests from top management, auditors and other external parties quickly

• Lead the digitalisation of supply chain data collection and reporting

• Build and coach a strong team across procurement, production planning, logistics and inventory

• Set goals for your team, hold regular one-on-ones and performance reviews, and create development plans

• Find skill gaps in the team and close them through training, job rotation or external courses

• Keep communication between Rawang HQ and the Bidor plant running smoothly
